Recco is a personal restaurant recommendation app. We collect only what we need to make the app work, we never sell your data, and you're always in control.

Who we are

Recco is operated by William Andrews as a personal project. The app helps you keep track of restaurants you've visited or want to visit, and share recommendations with trusted friends.

Who can see your data

Your restaurant list and ratings are only visible to friends you explicitly connect with inside the app. You control who you connect with — nobody can see your data without your approval.

We use Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting) and Google Places API (restaurant search) as technical providers. These are reputable services with their own privacy policies.

Data storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers in the EU. We use industry-standard encryption for all data in transit and at rest.

Recco uses only essential cookies required for authentication (keeping you logged in). We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Children

Recco is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
